How to make iced tea – the hottest hot drink
1. APPLE-MINT TEA
Brew 1 liter of black tea, strain, add about 30 g of coarsely chopped mint. Core a couple of small apples, cut into cubes and also place in hot tea along with half a lime. Add sugar to taste. Place the lid on the kettle and let cool. Serve chilled with a few ice cubes and a slice of lime.
2. TEA CITRUS PUNCH
Mix 1 glass of iced tea with the juice of 1 lemon, add the juice of three oranges and sugar. Pour in 0.5 cups of raspberry syrup, 1 cup of pineapple juice, and 1 cup of soda water. Fill the glasses pre-filled with pineapple pieces and ice cubes 2/3 with the prepared punch and add a little boiling water. Serve with a straw.
3. SPICY TEA IN INDIAN STYLE
Mix black and mint tea, spices (cinnamon, ginger, grated nutmeg) and pour boiling water over the whole thing. Let stand for six minutes, then strain and add sugar or honey. When the liquid has cooled completely, add lemon juice and some soda water to it. Pour the resulting drink into glasses with ice cubes.
4. TEA WITH CARDAMOM AND MILK
Boil the green cardamom seed water and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Add black tea, orange peel and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and leave for 3-5 minutes. Pour milk into the drink, add sugar to taste, stir and let cool slightly. Pour the tea into glasses filled with ice cubes.
5. GREEN TEA WITH STRAWBERRY
Brew green tea in 1.2 liters of hot water, add sugar, let the drink cool. Then add the juice of one lemon, halved strawberries, medium-sized mint and mix well. Serve with ice cubes and garnish with a wedge of lime.
