What you need (2 servings):
100 g cod filet
1 slice of wheat bread
100 ml milk
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. butter
1-2 potatoes
½ carrot
1 handful of green green beans
20 g celery root
¼ bulb
salt to taste
greens for serving
How to prepare:
Step 1: Soak a piece of bread in milk. Grind the cod fillets and squeeze the bread out of the excess milk 2 times through a meat grinder.
Step 2 Add butter, salt and egg yolk beaten with a fork to the fish mixture. Mix the filling thoroughly. Moisten your hands and roll meatballs the size of hazelnuts.
Step 3 Peel and dice the vegetables. Pour 500 ml of water into a saucepan, bring to the boil, add the prepared vegetables and beans, cook for 5-7 minutes.
Step 4: Place the fish dumplings in the soup and simmer over a low heat until they float and the vegetables are soft. Sprinkle over the herbs before serving.
