Make these original and crunchy carrot chips. Of course, they don’t look much like bacon, but they turn out very tasty!
coarse carrots 1 pc.
Smoked paprika 1 tsp.
dried garlic 1 tsp.
honey or maple syrup 1 tbsp.
unscented vegetable oil 2 tbsp.
salt to taste
Step by step recipe
Wash and peel carrots. Use a vegetable peeler to slice carrots lengthwise into thin slices.
Mix honey, oil, smoked paprika and dried garlic. Pour mixture over carrot slices, stir to make sure everyone gets some. Leave to soak for 5 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Line a baking tray with baking paper and spread the slices on it. Place the baking tray in the hot oven and bake for 7-10 minutes until browned. Make sure they don’t burn!
Honey can be replaced with maple syrup. And you can put no salt at all.
