Mackerel Fish Cutlets With Mashed Potatoes

Cooking time: 30 min + 30 min.

What you need (4 servings):

350 g filet of mackerel

300g chilled mashed potatoes

1 medium carrot

6 stalks of green onion

1 tbsp horseradish

100 g flour

1 egg

20 g butter

100 g breadcrumbs

vegetable oil

green salad leaves for serving

salt

How to prepare:

Step 1 Cut the carrots into small cubes. Quickly fry them with butter. Remove on a paper towel and cool.

Step 2 Mix the mackerel, cut into small pieces, mashed potatoes, finely chopped green onions and horseradish in a bowl.

Step 3: Divide the mixture into 8 portions. Shape each into a patty. Put a carrot on top and form a cutlet. Dip each one in flour and shake off any excess.

Step 4: Dip in the egg, beaten with salt until smooth, then roll in breadcrumbs. Put in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.

Step 5: Fry on a hot frying pan with vegetable oil for 3-4 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Serve with the green salad.
